Name: Ceylen Tane'rih
Location: Nomadic, the 28th Dimension
Position (who do you serve under/as what): Special-Agent of the Heterih Peoples
Appearance (feel free to include a pic): The Heterih are a hidden people, not often communicating directly with other species. They are reptilian, and aquatic, but not amphibian. Their bodies are humanoid and streamlined, similar to that of a snake, with their muscles and bones being just as densely woven. They posses paralyzing venom in fangs located underneath their teeth, and small dense scales cover their whole bodies, except the palms of the hands and feet, which are webbed. Their whole bodies are covered in markings. (Whether the markings are real or extensive tattoos is unknown.)
Ceylen himself is wrapped in various black-toned tattoos/markings, some apparently in the script of some ancient and forgotten language, and others depicting various unknown scenes of life and nature, decorated with symbols and other patterns.
He is about seven feet tall, and like all Heterih, posses poly-dural ridges across his abdomen, chest, legs, and arms, used for offensive and defensive purposes in hand-to-hand combat.
Personality: Ceylen is quiet and introspective, twinged with passion and intelligence. He is the sort of man that saves a child from a car, only to give her a lollipop and disappear before someone can thank him. He is surrounded by an aura of drowning sadness which unnerves many. Despite this, he also posses an inner-fire which intrigues some, and angers others. Ceylen is curious, always seeking out new ideas and information. Perhaps the most striking feature of Ceylen is his deeply laid compassion and empathy, if you can see it behind his other personality features.
Goals: Ceylen always has the welfare and prosperity of his people foremost in his thoughts, but his specific goal outside of the Heterih fleet is unknown... for now... It is thought that he is scouting the universe for potential allies against the Fleshers, or for new technology, but those could be other missions aside from his intended purpose.
Strengths (5 at MOST): Ceylen is extremely observant and an excellent swimmer, as are most Heterih. He is skilled in "The Agent's Arts" which include subterfuge, combat, and diplomacy. Ceylen specializes in knowledge of various different planets, space-stations, military hardware, and other technology. Ceylen also posses a photographic memory, and a remarkable ability to truly understand others. He prefers assassination techniques and traps to front-to-front battle, but will make use of a pair of katana-like energy swords, which have several different forms and functions.
Weaknesses (3 at LEAST): Ceylen can be quick to judge, and is highly suspicious, even of his allies. Many see him a pessimistic and gloomy person because they do not see his true thoughts which he rarely expresses. It can be difficult to move him to action, because occasionally he will insist on complete and total proof before doing something, and at other times he will gallivant into the universe on the barest shred of information. This would appear to make him either indecisive or inconsistent, but he is neither, just misunderstood.
Other: Compassion is a common attribute of the Heterih people, despite the popular adage that they are a cold-hearted. The Heterih are merely xenophobic, to the point at which many of them will not interfere with pirates ransacking a nearby freighter. This is due to their races contact with the Fleshers, whom the Heterih fought to a standstill for close to three hundred years, until they lost the advantage of proton weaponry and were forced to retreat from their garrison worlds. The Fleshers nearly forced them into extinction before they finally escaped into the newly formed ultra-high dimensions, where they have been drifting ever since, each Heterih swearing that they will not take another planet as their own until they have reclaimed their homeworld, Laei Rephnoix.
Plot ideas: Ceylen will be the driving force in the fight to either make peace or largely destroy the Fleshers.
