The Kazesqui, an energy race, originated from the fifth negative dimension.
The last known surviving Kazesqui are leader Eris-Tam, Tam's second (Drel-Caz), Tam's two daughters (Eris-Ell and Eris-Aya), and one other.
They are an extremely unique race, with traits unseen in almost all other races.
They came from the same planet as the Alteriians- twin races.
The result of this was that a connection developed. A deep mental connection between one Alteriian and one Kazesqui, called the Neiede link. ("Neiede" means "dear one" in Alteriian, and means closer to "other half" in the now almost extinct Kazesqui language. The two races shared Alteriian as a common language, and the Kazesqui's language was something for privacy and ritual, not shared with any outsiders.)
Through this link, each partner gains energy, strength, and power. The two must be within a certain proximity, and the closer they are the more they get from the link. The two who are chosen are chosen by fate, and the bond is forever, or until either one partner dies or until the link is broken. Breaking the link is of great taboo, and has only been done once or twice in the history of the two races. One of these times was between the great couple Archelaus and Eris-Tam, and the result of such a break sent Archelaus (the one who severed it) into a coma-like state, where he could not function at all until the link was restored by Tam.
However, it was (until recently) believed that all of the Kazesqui had been wiped out by the villain Valderis Robless, controlled by the Thel-ghan'che, in the Battle at Snowdove. In this battle, the Kazesqui sacrificed themselves to grant the Alteriians enough time to escape their homeworld safely. All Kazesqui were thought dead, and the death toll rose to the millions.
It was later discovered that three had survived: a very young Eris-Tam and two Kazesqui elders (Drel-Sen and Lias-May), who, after having twelve children, passed away. Unfortunately, in the destruction of the 16th, 17th, and 21st dimensions by Robless, eight of the twelve died, leaving only Eris-Tam, Drel-Caz, and Lias-Xel.
The birth of Eris-Ell and Eris-Aya will be the first Kazesqui births in over five centuries.
