Dreston Turn

Name: Dreston Turn
Location: Well... can his current location be the 4th Dimension, where everything seems to be going on?
Position (who do you serve under/as what): Hm... he's something of a loner, I suppose.
Appearance (feel free to include a pic): Dreston is a machine, but he's also a machinist. Overall, his appearance is somewhat... steampunk. As in, he seems to have almost clockwork elements, but really his internal fuctions are a lot more complex. His appearance is that of a younger boy with glowing blue eyes and the same light shining through the cracks and creases in his plating, though in all actuality he is much older than he appears, as is evident by the half-updated, slightly rusting exterior which he posseses. He is mute, though, as well. Though he is skilled enough to be able to give himself a voice, he sees no good reason to do so. He is quite the solitary type, and he prefers not to interact with people much. He is quiet, but he is also something of a genius.
Personality: Like I said, he's quiet. He likes building machines and fixing them, and they usually provide him all the company he needs. He really doesn't prefer to be around fleshy-types, but he is able to put up with it if necessary. The only reason he doesn't like them is because he has been mistreated by people before; his creator treated him horribly, and most other organics treated him as a slave and a servant. So... it's legit. He has always wanted to have people understand him, but he only feels understood by the machines he creates.
Goals: No real goals, except maybe to help people when possible and build things.
Strengths (5 at MOST): 1. Creating and building machines and gadgets; 2. Influencing and manipulating machines... that's pretty much it.
Weaknesses (3 at LEAST): 1. He is not a people person, and is bad at negotiating; 2. He is not great in combat, though his machines are; 3. He is not very strong physically, and could be easily destroyed.
Other: Um... yeah.
Plot ideas: Could he show up to help them get to... what was it called... oh, Olympus Mons? That way if I'm missing any major plot stuff it's not a big deal because Dreston wouldn't know it anyways.

Eris-Tam, you forgot meeeeee, I can be helpful! I made half this forum, I deserve credit! :3 Just kidding....sort of. I don't even know why I'm posting this, I was just looking at things I may have missed. And Tam, I'm guessing you saw 'steampunk' and approved it without needing to read the rest, lol. But I do understand. Can I say that I think I'm going to LOVE this character?? My character is all for the scientific stuff, although, instead of making machines, she makes animal species (like her firefox invention). At some point, Zyria has to be in contact with this guy, she'll want to do some research. Oh, and seriously, Eris-Tam, Robless, and I (Zyria) are on a LOT, so you'll have somebody to talk to.

I wish my friends were that cool, but no, no roleplayers in my group. Haha, all these surfers down in Florida... XD Not me. Wow, I don't know why but I feel like I can be pretty open with you guys. Pssha, it's all right. Yes, we /sort of/ know each other. We're all friends with the two people that have the connection, and we all sort of meshed together into this group of friends to do this. And one thing about this forum, there's no awkward. Honestly, we're all a variety of dorks, nerds, geeks, and a few (for example, moi) are a combination of the three. And for the names, well....I'd say we could go by the first letter of everyone's name, but there's already three of us with K names. Just go by character names, basically. Anyways, welcome! As you can see by my post on the Mars thread, the only thing that sets most of us off is people not checking in sort of frequently, but obviously you're doing more than enough. You'll definitely fit in.
