The Faces of the Balance

There are twelve main forces in this universe, those of Light and Darkness, Life and Death, Chaos and Order, Passion and Apathy, Hope and Grief, Change and Tradition.

They are not merely forces, however. They are more like gods, who once had lives and have their own personalities and experiences to bring to the table. Are they alive? No one truly knows. Did they live once? Were they mortal? That is for certain. The universe collected them from many different points in history but they exist in all points in time and space simultaneously. They always have existed and always will.

While each manifests differently, unique to each and every person or race and their thoughts and ideas, they have names of their own, given to them by those who created them or raised them before they became the immortals they are now. Those names are listed here. They also have allegiances among themselves, and mortal individuals which they favor and watch over. All of these are listed here as well.

Among these individuals, there are usually three sides to whatever conflict is going on, led by the Big Three: Tarrick, face of Light, Ophelia, face of Darkness, and Feia, face of Chaos. These sides sometimes create unexpected allegiances. Typically, this is the split with the three sides:

The ones among them that tend to change sides the most are Yvonne, Danni, and Tam who moves frequently between Chaos and Light.

Oh by the way... no one may edit this. It's not like the form that's called The Balance and is open for people to add to. The "favored people" aren't ones you can change. It's not which forces that character considers themselves a part of, it's which characters the gods consider worthy of them.
